Description
Sandpiper BEAST SPB20 2" AODD Pump Flap Valve for Metallic Pumps
Genuine Sandpiper flap valve replacement parts for compatible BEAST SPB20 2" Metallic AODD pumps. Pump construction identifies the compatible pump configuration; the flap valve material is selected separately from the manufacturer-listed options below.
The Sandpiper BEAST SPB20 flap valve is the moving wet-end check-valve component used in compatible flap-valve AODD pumps. It opens away from the flap valve seat to allow forward fluid movement and closes against the seat to restrict reverse flow. Select the replacement by exact pump model, pump construction, flap valve material and Sandpiper manufacturer part number.
Product Overview
The Sandpiper BEAST SPB20 flap valve is intended for servicing compatible 2" Metallic flap-valve AODD pumps.
The flap valve and its mating seat work together as a one-way wet-end check valve. The flap valve is the moving replacement component; the flap valve seat and related hinge, wear, retainer or sealing components are separate parts where Sandpiper lists them separately.
Manufacturer-listed flap valve selections for this product include 316 Stainless Steel. Select the exact material and manufacturer part number for the installed pump. Do not select the flap valve from nominal pump size or diaphragm material alone.
Recommended For
- Heavy Duty Flap Valve wet-end maintenance
- Replacement of worn or damaged flap valves
- Flap check-valve inspection and servicing

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Sandpiper BEAST SPB20 flap valve?
It is the moving wet-end check-valve component used in compatible Sandpiper BEAST SPB20 flap-valve AODD pumps. It opens away from and closes against the flap valve seat as the pump cycles.
Is the flap valve the same as the complete flap-valve system?
No. The flap valve is the moving replacement component. The flap valve seat and related hinge, wear, retainer or sealing components are separate parts where Sandpiper lists them separately.
Which flap valve materials are listed for this BEAST SPB20?
The manufacturer-listed selections shown on this page are 316 Stainless Steel. Confirm the exact manufacturer part number and chemical compatibility before ordering.
Are flap valve seats included with these flap valves?
Do not assume a flap valve seat is included with an individual flap valve part number. Sandpiper lists seats separately on applicable service-parts lists unless a specific kit or assembly states otherwise.
How do I confirm the correct BEAST SPB20 flap valve?
Check the complete pump model and construction, identify the required flap valve material and verify the corresponding Sandpiper manufacturer part number against the current service manual.
